The stars have aligned.
What are Invisalign clear aligners?
Invisalign aligners are a near-invisible orthodontic alternative to metal braces that uses a series of clear, plastic removable trays to gradually straighten your teeth over time. You’ll get the same high-quality care and personalized treatment plan without the uncomfortable brackets and wires, long appointments, and embarrassing elastic bands.
Why should I choose Invisalign aligners?
Invisalign’s clear aligners are the best near-invisible method for straightening your teeth, so you can get the smile you’ve always dreamed of with no one ever knowing you’re having the treatment. Yes, you can smile in photos again. Say cheese!
Not only will you feel less soreness and discomfort than you would with old-school braces, but Invisalign aligners come off when you eat. So you can enjoy every meal just a little bit more, and never have to worry about awful cuts and scrapes.
Because we use 3D technology and easy-to-remove plastic aligners, Invisalign treatment means fewer appointments, shorter visits, and the freedom to eat whatever you want. (That means you can say “Yes!” to popcorn at the movies.)
How Invisalign Treatment Works
At your first appointment, we’ll scan your teeth and create a 3D rendering of your smile and bite. After your scans come back, you’ll get to see a 3D simulation of your smile and your orthodontist will talk to you about your treatment goals and let you know how long your treatment may take.
Your orthodontist will design your new smile using cutting-edge 3D technology and you’ll get to see an interactive 3D simulation that shows how your smile will adjust over time.
Once we discuss the fees and payment options, we’ll finalize your treatment plan and order your aligners.
Your first set of aligners will arrive in a couple of weeks. You’ll come in for a fitting, in which “bumps” will be placed on your teeth to secure the aligners and create a more efficient and predictable tooth movement. We’ll explain how to take them on and off and how to care for your teeth as you wear them.
Each week, you will replace one aligner with the next in the series, and little by little, your teeth will move until they are aligned to the final position. Voila! You have an amazing new smile.

How often do i need to come in for appts?
You will be provided with enough aligners to last 3 to 4 months at a time and we will make sure you know how to keep track and ensure your treatment is progressing as planned. How long will my treatment take?
Every person has a unique smile, bite, and set of teeth and thus, unique problems to solve. The amount of time treatment takes will depend on the severity of your orthodontic problem. If you need just minor correction, you could see results in as little as 3 months while major orthodontic work with Invisalign takes approximately 12-18 months.
Will wearing the aligners affect my speech?
It may take a couple of days for your tongue to get used to having your Invisalign aligners in your mouth, and you may have a slight lisp. But this should disappear quickly.
How often do I switch my aligners?
Your doctor will tell you how often you should change to new aligners (this can vary based on your individual treatment plan). Many doctors recommend changing Invisalign clear aligners weekly or every other week.
